Roma Pizza Club

last night, we had pizza for dinner at KLCC, or more precisely, avenue K.

the roma pizza club looked like a grotto. it was about 9 pm when we got there, so we were the only people there. n'ways...

place: roma pizza club
when did we go: wednesday, 5 sep 2007 -- 9 pm
address: Lot C-7, Avenue K, 156, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
phone number: +603 21643373

here's what we ordered:

deep fried calamari

carmelo pizza - tomato, mozzarella, button mushrooms, turkey ham, artichokes, black olives, smoked cheese, chicken sausage and broccoli

chockful of stuff

on a thin crispy crust: it's like eating three senduks of your favourite lauk with only two tablespoons of rice which gets in your way of the lauk... :p

a sample of their pizza menu

the deep fried calamari we had for starters was not that great, really (3/10) -- it was just like the sotong goreng tepung you can find in any decent seafood restaurant, and this particular dish cost MYR 8 something. kinda pricy for something ordinary...

the pizza was something else. though it had broccoli (this, carrot, baby corn and peas goes into my list of things-never-to-use-on-a-pizza), the pizza was great! the presentation of the pizza was nice -- it was long and rectangular in shape -- but the best part was how thin and crispy the crust was. lovely... i'll give it a 7/10.

in terms of drinks, we didn't order anything fancy -- DK had plain water and i had a can of coke and pineapple juice.

small monitors along the counter for you to watch movies -- great for people who are eating alone

what can we say about the place... hmmmm... come la! :) pizza is good and the selection is good too.

damage: MYR 53.35

okaylah... i'm so sleepy... take care and happy dining!
